Through SwitchBee’s smart application one can easily control the water heater from anywhere in the world, turn it off or turn it on, and set the duration of operation time, schedule the turning on and off, for a specific time in advance and include it as part of a scenario (for example, at eight in the evening the water heater is switched on for twenty minutes with the living room lamp and the hallway). The system modularity allows one to initially install a single switch or multiple switches and a little later continue to install more intelligent switches. This allows customers to purchase for instance only the water heater switch, and later on convert the whole house or another part of it to a smart one.
